The beloved husband of Queen Elizabeth II passed away Friday, April 11th, 2021, at age 99. The picture to the left is a family photo that reflects the love, humor, and human side of this husband who brought laughter to his wife. They enjoyed 73 years of marriage, which is a testament to their deep bond and community engagement. As the world reflects on their legacy, local events will honor their relationship. The Funeral will take place on Saturday, April 17th, with 30 people present at Windsor Castle, marking a moment of self-discovery for many as they remember the joy he brought to those around him.

Whitestone Mayor Found in Violation
I was quite annoyed this week when I read that Mayor George Comrie was found in violation of the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act and the Code of Conduct. This situation has led me to reflect on the importance of community engagement and the need for transparency in local events. As I consider this new information, I conclude that when the election comes in October, we need to elect a NEW mayor who values integrity and supports self-discovery within our community.
